Local SEO report: live Google Maps rankings to share
Send a link instead of a spreadsheet. PinRipple's local SEO report shows where a business ranks on Google Maps, street by street, who comes out on top, and what changed since the last scan. It updates itself after every scan, and nobody needs an account to open it.
What the report shows
- A one-line summary: how many of the search terms the business shows up for, and where.
- A map for each search term: each circle is a real Google Maps search made from that spot, with the position the business came in. Tap a circle for the details and a link to run that search on Google Maps.
- The numbers that matter: average position, and how many spots have the business in the map pack (the top 3) and in the top 20.
- What changed since the last scan on the same grid, search term by search term.
- Who comes out on top: up to five rivals, the ones in the top 3 at the most spots, with their rating, number of reviews, distance and share of top-3 spots.
- Earlier scans: the latest 12 scans stay in the report, so progress over time is easy to show.
- How to read it: a short guide inside the report explains the colours and numbers, so your client doesn't need a call.
Share it with a link
Each business has one report link. Copy it from the app and send it by email, WhatsApp or text: it opens in any browser, on a phone or a computer, without signing in, and the reader can switch between English and French. Switch the link off at any time and it stops working. Search engines are asked not to list reports.
The report always shows the latest scans, so the link you sent last month is still up to date. Set a scan to repeat every week on Starter, or every day from Growth up, and the report keeps itself current.
Your name on it, or white-label
Add your agency or business name in the app, and every report says “Prepared by” with your name. On the free trial, Starter and Growth, the report also says it was made with PinRipple. On Pro and Agency, it leaves out PinRipple's name, so it reads as your own white-label local SEO report. The link itself stays on pinripple.com.
What to put in a monthly local SEO report
A good monthly report answers three questions for the business owner: where do we stand, what changed, and what do we do next. In that order:
- Rankings across the whole area, not one number from one place: a map per search term shows where the business is strong and where it drops away.
- The map pack: how many spots have the business in the top 3, the results people see first.
- Rivals: who ranks above it, and what they have more of, such as reviews, photos or better-fitting categories.
- What was done this month: profile fixes, new photos, reviews asked for and answered.
- What comes next: the one or two changes most likely to help.
The report link covers the first two, and shows each rival's rating and number of reviews. For the rest, PinRipple's profile check in the app compares photos, categories, hours and more with the top 3 rivals, and its tips list what to fix first. Mark a tip as done, and the next scan shows whether it worked. Our local SEO audit guide walks through a full review.
What it costs
Report links come with every plan and with the 15-day free trial. Plans start at $9 a month for 5,000 credits, about 102 scans of 7 × 7 spots, for any number of businesses. Reports without PinRipple's name come with Pro ($45 a month) and Agency ($89).
Questions
Do my clients need an account?
No. The report opens from its link in any browser, on a phone or a computer. Only you need a PinRipple account.
Can I white-label the report?
On Pro and Agency, yes: the report leaves out PinRipple's name and shows yours as “Prepared by”. On the free trial, Starter and Growth you can add your name too, and the report also says it was made with PinRipple.
Does the report update itself?
Yes. It always shows the latest scans of that business and keeps the last 12. With automatic scans, it stays current without you doing anything.
Can I stop sharing a report?
Yes. Switch the link off in the app and it stops working straight away. You can make a new link later.
Who can see the report?
Anyone who has the link, and nobody else. Search engines are asked not to list it. If someone forwards the link, the new reader can open it too, so switch it off when it is no longer needed.
Can I make a report for a business that isn't mine?
Yes, for a client or a prospect: you can add any business listed on Google Maps.
