How PinRipple works

From your Google Maps link to a map of where you rank, and what to do about it, in seven steps.

  1. Add your business

Open your business in Google Maps, tap Share, copy the link and paste it into PinRipple. A name and town works too, but there may be several businesses with the same name.

  2. Choose your search terms

Use the words your customers type into Google Maps. A scan can check up to 10 terms, and each one gets its own map, because you can be first for “dentist” and nowhere for “emergency dentist”.

  3. Choose the grid

Pick how many spots, from 3 × 3 to 15 × 15 (up to 7 × 7 on the free plan), how far the grid reaches, from 200 m to 50 km, and a square or a circle. A circle leaves out the corners, which saves credits.

  4. Read the map

Each spot is coloured by where you came in there. Three numbers sum it up:

    Average position
The average over every spot, counting anything below 20th as 21. Lower is better.
    Spots in the top 3
Where you are in the map pack, the three results people see first.
    At the business
Where you come in at your own door.

Under the map, the businesses that come out on top most often, with their rating, reviews and distance from you.

  5. Fix what matters

PinRipple turns the scan into a short list of changes, the most useful first: reviews, categories, photos, description, opening hours, website. Paid plans also compare your Google profile with your top 3 rivals. Mark a tip as done, and your next scan shows if it worked.

  6. Keep watch, and share

Set a scan to repeat every week on Starter, or every day from Growth up. When an automatic scan shows a drop, we email you, and every Monday you get a summary. Each business also has a report link you can send to anyone, no sign-in needed.

Seen in AI answers

On paid plans, PinRipple asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Mode up to three questions your customers would ask, for the town they search in. It shows which answers name you, who they name instead, and which sites they draw on.

Being listed on those sites, with the same name, address and phone as on Google, helps the assistants find you. Each answer uses 2 credits.

What a credit is

One credit is one spot on the grid for one search term. Monthly credits renew each month; bonus credits and refunds for failed searches never expire.
